Mid 40’s with mostly cloudy skies here in Billings. Winds are light out of the NW.
Scarred snow/wintry mix possible east of the city through the evening.
Avalanche Warning – till Sunday Morning. MT/ID boarder, mountains around West Yellowstone. New Snow and Strong winds. Both natural and manmade slides likely. Use caution in the back country.
Tonight:
Cool and cloudy. Temps in the teens to 20’s.
Winds start to pick up around the foothills. 35-45 mph wind gusts for Livingston, Nye, Big Timber area tonight.
Could also see some patch fog in certain spots around our region tonight.
Use a little extra caution if you are out and about.
Tomorrow (Sunday):
Mild and sunny for most. Temps from the upper 30’s to low 50’s.
Winds will could pick up around the foothills. Livingston might see 50 mph gusts.
Monday - Saturday:
Tuesday evening, temps start to fall again back to right around average. Snow will start to move into the region.
Wednesday, 40% chance of snow in Billings.
Temps will drop by next weekend, back into the 20’s with a chance for snow on both Friday and Saturday.
As of now, we are looking at only light accumulations throughout the week, but we will let you know if that changes.
