Yellowstone County COVID-19 death toll reaches 127

BILLINGS - RiverStone Health reported Monday three additional Yellowstone County residents have died due to COVID-19 related illness.

The additional deaths bring the county death toll to 127.

The county health agency said in a press release the deaths included a man in his 80s who passed away in a private home in Yellowstone County on Thursday, Dec. 3.

Also on Thursday a woman in her 70s passed away in a Yellowstone County nursing home.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, a woman in her 70s passed away at a Billings hospital.

No other information about the cases was released.

RiverStone Health also said Monday that not all Yellowstone County deaths are reflected on the state COVID-19 tracking map as of Monday.

“The Yellowstone County community continues to be severely affected by the pandemic,” said John Felton, Yellowstone County health officer and RiverStone Health CEO. “I offer condolences to the friends and families of the latest pandemic victims and implore everyone to do all they can to slow the spread of this deadly disease.”
