Montana state health officials reported 67 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, a new single day record for new cases, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
Yellowstone County reported the largest increase with 14 cases. Missoula County reported 10 new cases of the virus, and Gallatin and Richland counties both reported six new cases.
Yellowstone Countyreported 15 new cases on Wednesday.
Five new cases were reported in Big Horn and Teton counties. The cases in Teton County are the first to be reported in that area.
Four new cases were reported in Flathead and Glacier counties, and three new cases were reported in Carbon, Madison and Silver Bow counties.
Cascade, Custer, Lewis and Clark, Park, and Beaverhead counties each reported one new COVID-19 case.

There are now 1,083 cumulative cases statewide, according to state health officials. There have been 672 recoveries.
There are some discrepancies between the number of cases reported by state health officials and county health officials. In the most recent report, Gallatin County health officials report a total of 288 cases with 46 active cases. State health officials report a total of 277 cases with 56 active cases. MTN is reporting the cases as reported by county officials when those discrepancies occur.
Currently there are 389 active cases statewide. Yellowstone County has the most active cases with 82. Gallatin County has 56 active cases, and Missoula County has 52 active cases. Big Horn County has 41 active cases.
There are 14 people hospitalized, and the death toll remains at 22.
There were 1,819 new tests over the previous 24-hour reporting period, and the total number of tests stands at 95,149.
