Montana state health officials reported 50 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, including 15 new cases in Yellowstone County, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.
Gallatin County reported eight new cases, and Cascade County and Ravalli County each reported four new cases.
Three new cases were reported in Big Horn, Carbon and Missoula counties. Custer County and and Lewis and Clark County each reported two new cases, and one new case was reported in Granite, Lake, Rosebud, Silver Bow, Stillwater, and Valley counties.

Montana reported 49 new cases on Tuesday and 56 new cases on Monday.
The number of total cumulative cases now stands at 1,016 statewide. There have been 658 recoveries and there are 336 active cases statewide.
There are some discrepancies between state health officials and county health officials. MTN is reporting the cases as reported by county officials when those discrepancies occur. Wednesday's data shows the total number of cases in the state now stands at 1,033. The state tracking map is reporting 1,016 cases due in part to differences in reporting by county health departments which often receive information on confirmed COVID-19 cases before state officials.
State health officials report there are 14 current hospitalizations, and the death toll remains at 22.
The number of tests increased by 2,469 to reach a total of 93,330.
Yellowstone County now has 68 active cases of the virus. Gallatin County has 50 active cases, and Missoula County has 42 active cases. Big Horn County reports 36 active cases.
