BILLINGS — Winter’s warm and windy arrival

High Wind Warnings for the Rocky Mountain Front Range call for wind gusts up to 85 mph until 3am Sunday.

High Wind Warnings from Glacier to the Judith Basin area, with wind gusts up to 60 mph, expire at 9pm Saturday evening.

Wind Advisories for the Livingston area and the Beartooth / Absaroka foothills, with gusts up to 60 mph, expires at midnight Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Saturday is producing near-record afternoon highs across south central and southeastern Montana.

Expect breezy conditions and highs back into the low to mid 50s Sunday with a gradual cooling trend heading into Christmas.
