BILLINGS — A reasonably quiet weekend, but still cooler than average.

7 DAY FORECAST FOR FRIDAY, NOV 1, 2019

Wind will highlight the weather in southeastern Montana today, with 15 to 30 mph winds closer to the Dakotas. Winds increase down the East mountain slopes around Livingston/Nye by tonight with top gusts of 40 to 60 mph through Saturday.

Temperatures will be in the mid 30s to mid 40s Friday afternoon regionwide with a mix of clouds and sun. Despite increasing clouds, temperatures will reach mainly the 40s on Saturday and Sunday. Overnight temperatures will be mainly in the teens and 20s early Saturday, but 20s to 30s Sunday and Monday mornings.

Another round of rain switching to snow moves into the area Sunday night, cooling us back down early next week. The chilliest day looks to be Wednesday with a highs only in the 20s.

Billings forecast:

Friday… Mostly sunny with a West wind 10 to 20 mph. High near 42.

Friday night… Mostly clear with a Southwest wind 10 to 20 miles an hour. Low of about 26.

Saturday… A mix of clouds and sun with a West wind 10 to 20 mph. Around 46 for the high temperature.
