BILLINGS — Winter weather is moving away.
Winter Weather Advisories are posted for much of southeastern Montana and portions of northern Wyoming through midnight Wednesday.
As the exiting trough of low pressure moves east, expect some slushy roads in higher elevations and light snow accumulations.
High pressure, sunshine and mild temperatures return to the region Thursday with a gradual warming trend through the weekend.

Today: Cold with a 40% chance of evening showers, northwest winds 10 to 20 mph, patchy fog and a low of 31.
Tonight: Partly sunny and chilly, patchy morning fog, light northwest winds and a high of 45.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy and colder with a 20% chance of snow showers and a low of 29.
