BILLINGS — It is almost a perfect Sunday here in the city of Billings. The temperatures are warm, the sky is clear, and the wind is almost calm.

Right now in the early afternoon we are looking at mostly sunny skies and 80 degrees with an east wind at about three mph.

Around the rest of the state our current temps are mostly to the 70s and 80s everywhere we look.

The Doppler radar shows you dry skies from one side of Montana to the other.

We do see a few scattered showers and thunderstorms developing in northeastern Wyoming heading toward the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The High-Resolution forecast model shows that's all we are expecting across the region Sunday. Here in Montana, expect mostly sunny skies from one side of the state to the other.

Even by 6 p.m. we might see a few high clouds around the Beartooths and a couple sprinkles.

Then, by Monday afternoon, we might see some showers and thunderstorms develop in the southwest corner of Montana.

Expect to see more clouds and showers moving into the southwest and west central part of the state on Tuesday afternoon.

However, Sunday night in south central and eastern Montana we are looking at temps mainly to the 40s and 50s.

Monday it's back to the 80s and low 90s with plenty of sunshine all the way across Montana. Here in Billings it will be 92 degrees, 96 at Hardin, 94 at Sheridan and Forsyth.

At 5:30 p.m. tonight Billings will see 87 degrees, we will cool back down to the low 60s in the morning and back up to 84 degrees at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

On Monday, we will top out at 92 degrees and we will keep those afternoon highs in the 90s all the way through the rest of the week and on into Saturday.
