Red Flag Fire Warnings have been posted across much of the region from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Winds gusting from 30 to 50 mph can be expected along with relative humidity values in the 5 to 15 percent range.
Friday will be cooler and not as windy.
