BILLINGS — Near record high for Sunday.

There is a marginal risk for isolated strong to severe thunderstorms across much of west and central Montana and north central Wyoming Saturday evening.

Any such storm is likely to produce brief heavy rain and possibly small hail.

The possibility for strong to severe thunderstorms for our area exists Sunday as well, along with near record heat.

The Billings area saw a record high of 92 back in 1936 and 1940.

It will be occasionally breezy in the area Sunday as well.

Tonight: Decreasing clouds and warm, a 20% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms, southeast winds 5 to 15 mph and a low of 61.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and hot with light southwest winds and a near-record high of 90.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy and not as warm with a low of 56.

Monday: Sunny and not as hot with a high of 82.
