Snow Sunday evening, slick streets Monday morning

Another cold front is passing through Montana Sunday evening bringing more widespread flurries.

Places like Billings, Harlowton, Columbus, Hardin and Sheridan will see around an inch accumulation overnight.

Red Lodge could see 2 to 3 inches accumulation overnight while the north facing mountain slopes south of I-90 could see 3 to 5 inches or more in higher elevations.

With near-freezing temps and potentially slick streets Monday morning, take extra time for the morning commute, especially between 4 and 9 a.m.

The forecast for Billings:

Tonight: A 70 percent chance of rain changing to snow, 1 inch accumulation possible, light north winds and a low of 30.

Monday: Cooler with a 60 percent chance of am snow changing to rain and snow, light southeast winds and a high of 39.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy and a low of 31.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and warmer, breezy and a high of 50.
