BILLINGS — A passing weather system will enter the area from the west Friday bringing snow showers at 8,500 feet early on, dropping to 6,000 feet tonight.
The Crazies and the Beartooth Absarokas could see 5 to 10 inches accumulation, and the Bighorns could see 2 to 5 inches.
This system will also fire off a few thunderstorms across the eastern plains.
A second system will enter the region from the west late Saturday evening bringing more scattered rain and snow showers.
Meanwhile, winds across the state will kick up to the 20 mph range with occasional gusts up to 30 mph at times.
Look for more sunshine and mild to warm temperatures starting Sunday.
