BILLINGS — Sunny and mild, then sunny and hot.

Like Sunday, Monday will prove to be another sunny and dry across the region.

There is a marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms in far southeast Montana and northeast Wyoming Sunday evening.

Another marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms will reappear in far eastern Montana and Wyoming Monday afternoon and evening.

Afternoon highs Monday will remain somewhat cooler-than-average with highs mostly in the low to mid 80s.

Look for mostly dry, sunny weather with a significant warming trend for the region beginning Tuesday.

The forecast for Billings

Tonight: Mostly clear, northwest winds 5 to 10 mph and a low of 60.

Monday: Mostly sunny and not as warm with north winds 5 to 15 mph and a high of 82.

Monday night: Mostly clear, northeast winds 5 to 10 mph and a low of 58.

Tuesday: Sunny and warmer with east winds 5 to 10 mph and a high of 90.
