BILLINGS — Here comes the heat and wind.
Daytime highs will soar into the 90s across much of the region Friday and Saturday.
Winds will pick up along I-90 near Livingston on Saturday. Gusts up to 50 mph or more are likely, especially in the afternoon and evening hours.
A High Wind Watch is also in effect for portions of central and southwest Montana on Saturday afternoon and evening.
An incoming Pacific weather system will bring much cooler temperatures and widespread showers and thunderstorms to eastern Montana by Sunday.

Today: Mostly sunny and hot with south winds 5 to 15 mph and a high of 93.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, east winds 5 to 15 mph and a low of 61.
Saturday: Partly sunny and hot, southwest winds 10 to 20 mph and a high of 95.
