BILLINGS — Noticeably colder, but not nearly as cold as next week.
High temperatures Friday will range from the single digits in Northeast Montana to 25 to 30 degrees in southern Montana and northern Wyoming. With snow showers ending, expect decreasing clouds through the afternoon.
Winds will increase around the Livingston/Nye area with gusts to around 55 mph expected Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. A Wind Advisory is in effect along I-90.
Overnight temperatures won’t be as cold for southern Montana northern Wyoming with readings early Friday in the teens and 20s. There will be exceptions in Northeast Montana with a single digits above and below zero.
Around seasonal averages for highs on Saturday with readings mainly in the 30s. Expect a mix of clouds and sun.
Sunday is a transition day as the colder air arrives. Highs Monday will be mainly in the teens, with single digits above and below zero for highs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight temperatures will be below zero with area snow flurries.
