BILLINGS — A nice warm-up in temperatures Friday and Saturday, but there will be some wind.
Strong wind gusts around Livingston/Nye northward to Harlowton could reach 45 to 55 mph Friday and Saturday. For Billings, this could mean sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph with occasional stronger gusts.
Otherwise, expect sunny and dry conditions Friday with a highs mainly in the 50s. With mild overnight temperatures in the 30s to low 40s, highs in the 50s to around 60 are possible Saturday but the winds continue to be gusty at times.
Saturday night through Sunday a cold front will bring areas of rain or freezing rain followed by snow. Similar to the system earlier this week, that could mean very slick conditions by early Sunday.
Periods of snow are expected to decrease through the day on Sunday. With the clearing sky overnight, temperatures will likely drop to the single digits to low teens early Monday.

Friday night… Mostly clear with a low around 41. Still breezy out of the West at 15 to 25 mph.
Saturday… Increasing clouds with a high near 59. Westerly winds continue 15 to 25 miles an hour. A chance of rain during the evening hours, then a chance of rain/snow or freezing rain overnight.
