Q2 Weather: AM fog, PM wind, but warmer

BILLINGS — A Dense Fog Advisory for much of northern and eastern Montana and northern Wyoming is in effect until around 10 a.m. Thursday.

Areas of freezing fog were reported near Glendive and Jordan on Thursday morning with more of that on the way Thursday night into Friday morning.

Gap winds in the Livingston and Nye valleys will gust up to 50 mph at times this evening. The Billings area will be windy at times Thursday night as well.

Ridging high pressure across the northwest will bring partly cloudy skies and warmer than average temperatures into the weekend.

A weak disturbance will bring scattered showers through the region Friday into Saturday morning.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, southwest winds 15 to 25 mph and a low of 34.

Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer, southwest winds 10 to 20 mph and a high of 56.
