BILLINGS — The work-week weather ‘ups and downs’

High Wind Warnings for places like Judith Gap, Big Timber, Melville and Harlowton remain in place through early Monday morning.

Wind Advisories for places like Livingston, Fishtail and McLeod also remain in place until early Monday morning.

However, Monday is clearly the nicest day in the forecast period with sunshine and much warmer than average afternoon high temperatures.

An unsettled weather pattern takes over early Tuesday with showers and cooler temperatures.

By Tuesday night, another round of sub-freezing temps and widespread snow showers moves in to the area.

More sunshine and near average temps arrive by Friday.

The forecast for Billings
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, west winds 15 to 25 mph, a 20% chance of isolated showers and a low of 42.

Monday: Sunny and warm with southwest winds 10 to 20 mph and a high of 59.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy and a low of 35.

Tuesday: Not as warm with a 40% chance of scattered showers and a high of 51.
