BILLINGS — Sun and showers for dear ol’ Dad!

Welcome to the first day of summer.

A couple of shortwave weather systems will pass through the region this evening and Father’s Day Sunday.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible with occasionally breezy conditions at times.

A warmer and drier weather pattern moves in by Wednesday.

In the meantime, daytime highs will stay in the mid 70s to low 80s through Tuesday.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy and warm, west winds 5 to 15 mph, a 40% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms and a low of 58.

Father’s Day Sunday: Mostly sunny and warm, west winds 10 to 20 mph, a 40% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms and a high of 80.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, a 30% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms and a low of 54.

Monday: Mostly sunny, a bit cooler, a 20% chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms and a high of 75.
