BILLINGS — A warm up, then a cool down.

Ridging high pressure across the Pacific Northwest will allow for a couple of warm and sunny days in eastern Montana and northern Wyoming Sunday and Monday.

Daytime highs will edge into the low 60s with very little chance for any showers tomorrow into early next week.

Tuesday will be a cool and showery transition day ahead of an advancing cold front.

By Wednesday, expect below-average temps and scattered snow showers across much of the area.

The forecast for Billings

Tonight: Mostly clear skies, west winds 10 to 20 mph and a low of 32.

Sunday: Sunny and warmer with light southwest winds and a high of 60.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy and mild with a low of 36.

Monday: Sunny and warm with a high of 61.
