BILLINGS — Warm and dry conditions are followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday will be sunny, warm and dry with highs in the 80s across Eastern Montana and northern Wyoming. A bit of a breeze down the east mountain slopes will support warmer temperatures.

An approaching cold front brings a chance of showers and thunderstorms from Billings to the west by late Wednesday into Thursday. Some storms could have gusty winds with slow-moving storms creating pockets of heavy rain.

Thursday’s trending cooler, with highs in the 70s, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. The chance of severe weather is slim, but pockets of heavy rain are possible.
