BILLINGS — Snow and blowing snow are concerns in south-central and southeast Montana starting on Thanksgiving.

2019 THANKSGIVING WEEKEND FORECAST AS OF NOV 26, 2019

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for southern Montana from Thursday through Saturday. This is issued when there is potential for significant snow and/or travel concerns in the future.

From Thursday evening through Saturday, snow could add up to 5 to 13 inches across portions of northern Wyoming and southern Montana. The highest amounts are forecast over southeast Montana.

Wind gusts could reach 45 mph, causing blowing and drifting snow.
