BILLINGS — A mild start to Autumn -

Mostly sunny skies and near average temperatures – in the 60s and 70s - prevailed across the region Sunday, the last day of summer.

Autumn arrives Monday with mostly sunny, breezy and warmer weather.

Monday afternoon highs will climb into the mid to upper 70s in eastern Montana.

Expect more wind Monday night through Tuesday night with gusts up to 40 mph at times.

By Wednesday, another batch of cooler air moves in with increasing showers by Thursday.
