Garfield, southwestern Roosevelt, southern Valley and northwestern
McCone Counties through 330 PM MDT
...
At 225 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fort Peck, or 13 miles southeast of Glasgow, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Glasgow, Nashua, Fort Peck, The Pines Rec Area, Tampico, Duck Creek
Rec Area, Lustre, Fort Peck Marina, Hell Creek Rec Area, Frazer,
Nelson Creek Rec Area, Rock Creek Rec Area, Oswego, Park Grove, The
Bentonite Plant, Weldon, Haxby, and Whatley.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
If on or near Fort Peck Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
