BILLINGS – We have another shot at area severe weather on Sunday.
A passing cold front early Saturday morning left cooler than average temperatures in its wake. Mid-afternoon highs were mostly in the 70s with virtually no showers activity.
But we’ll see another slight risk for severe thunderstorms in southeast Montana and northeast Wyoming on Sunday.
Places like Broadus, Gillette, and communities east of Sheridan and southeast of Lame Deer could see large hail and damaging winds.
To a lesser degree on Sunday, isolated thunderstorms are also expected from places like Harlowton and Livingston, east and south to Ekalaka and Greybull – including Billings.
