BILLINGS – More snow Thursday ahead of a record cold weekend.

Winter Weather Advisories for much of south-central and southeastern Montana will remain in effect through Saturday morning. Limit your travel in the area due to poor road conditions, limited visibility and occasional snowfall.

Winter Storm Warnings for the Crazy Mountains and the Beartooth – Absaroka Range remain in effect until Saturday morning as well. The Beartooth – Absarokas could see another 10 to 16 inches, bringing the several-day storm totals to between 2 and 5 feet of snow accumulation.

Avalanche Warnings remain in effect for the backcountry of the Teton and Yellowstone Park region, the Cooke City area, the Gallatin and Madison ranges.

Billings will likely see another 2 to 4 inches of snow accumulation Thursday afternoon through early Friday morning.

Daytime highs in Billings for both Saturday and Sunday are expected to be the coldest on record.
