BILLINGS – Another mild day with snow and cold arriving Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will be mild despite cloudiness Wednesday. There will not be much variation between morning and afternoon readings, with highs mainly in the 30s. Expect chillier temperatures east of Billings and warmer readings through northern Wyoming.
A cold front will push from north to south across the region arriving in areas north of Billings through the afternoon. Expect snow to develop from Billings to the south during the evening and overnight hours.
Accumulations will generally run between an inch to 4 inches of new snowfall, with more into the mountain foothills and less across the Eastern Plains.
Overnight temperatures will range from the teens in the mountain foothills, single digits around Billings, and subzero cold in Eastern Montana.
Snow showers and early tomorrow, with sunshine to follow. Temperatures will be colder with highs mainly in the teens and 20s.
Another round of snow showers is likely Thursday night and Friday.
