It will be sometimes windy, sometimes wet, as a series of disturbances move across the area.

For Thursday, scattered to isolated showers are possible.  East of Billings, the plains will be breezy with 15 to 25 mph winds and stronger gusts.

High temperatures will be mainly in the 45 to 55-degree range with a mix of clouds and sun.

Thursday night, clouds and showers increase overnight, with stronger winds in the mountain foothills.  Other than the mountains, the lows will be in the 30s.

Friday, rain and snow will become more widespread.  Gusty winds will increase around Livingston to Harlowton, reaching 45 to 55 mph.

Friday will be a cloudy to mostly cloudy day.  Highs will be in the 50s from Billings westward and through northern Wyoming. Expect the 40s in Montana’s eastern plains.

Up to a foot in new snow will fall in the Beartooth and Absaroka ranges Thursday through Friday night. Difficult winter conditions should be expected in the higher elevations.
