A ridge building into the area signals the continuance of the warming trend we saw beginning Tuesday, rebounding after the week started off quite cool.
We can expect plenty of sunshine over the course of the day on Wednesday and temperatures to get back up over the 80 degree mark.
The same pattern will hold for Billings on Thursday and we can expect even warmer temperatures in the warm sector of a cold frontal system. High temperatures Thursday could creep up into the mid 80s.
By Thursday afternoon we will start to feel the effects of the new system with some breezier conditions pushing into our area.
Clouds will build over the course of the day on Thursday.
This frontal system is shaping up to be quite dry and chances of storms are fairly limited, but if we are to see effects it will be later in the evening into the overnight hours.
After an August of up and down weather it appears we are settling into a mild pattern heading towards the September long weekend, so get out and enjoy the pleasant late summer conditions!
