BILLINGS- As the showers end Monday night, a warm up is close behind.
Periods of rain showers will decrease across the area through the overnight hours into early Tuesday. Snow above 8,500 feet will diminish in the Beartooth, Absaroka, and Bighorn mountains.
It will be a chilly and somewhat cloudy start with the 30s and 40s Tuesday morning. Afternoon sunshine will help boost highs to the 60s to low 70s.
A dry and warmer trend will boost temperatures to the upper 70s to mid 80s for highs Wednesday and Thursday.
An early look at the Labor Day weekend is a little cooler than average with only isolated storms. Highs will be mainly in the 70s with some low 80s Friday through Monday, with lows in mid-40s to mid-50s.
Monday night… Scattered showers decreasing by morning. Otherwise, cloudy to mostly cloudy with a low of about 45.
Tuesday… Decreasing clouds with isolated morning showers. A high of near 69.
