At 554 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms in southern
Sheridan County with the strongest thunderstorm located 21 miles
northeast of Fort Phil Kearny Historical Site, or 26 miles east of
Sheridan, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and torrential rain are possible with
these storms. Localized flooding is also possible under these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Clearmont, Leiter, Arvada, Story, Banner and Ucross.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
