Yellowstone County adds 19 COVID-19 cases Saturday

Montana reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

The state conducted 1,447 new tests for a total of 98,950.

Yellowstone County had the highest number of new cases, adding 19. Gallatin County had the second-highest number with 5 new cases.

The State of Montana officially counts 1,167 cumulative cases.

MTN News includes the totals reported by individual Montana counties, which may include cases not counted by the state. As of Friday night, MTN reported 1,143 cumulative cases.

Active hospitalizations rose to 20, with 678 people listed as recovered. Montana currently reports 466 active cases.

The number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 is now at 23.

Big Horn County reported its fourth COVID-19-related death Thursday evening, a woman in her 60s who was in the hospital.
