CULBERTSON — Two men are dead after a fatal crash Wednesday near Culbertson.

The incident was reported at 1:44 p.m.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, a 2001 Honda S2000 was traveling north on Highway 16 near mile marker 4 when the driver lost control on the bridge deck, sliding across the road and striking a 2018 white Ford F150.

The driver of the Honda, an 18-year-old male from Emporium, Kan., and the passenger, a 34-year-old male from Mexico, were both dead on the scene when troopers arrived.

The driver of the Ford, a 46-year-old Billings man, was transferred to Roosevelt County Medical Center before being airlifted to the Billings Clinic.

Wet, slushy roads and speed are possible factors in the crash, troopers said.
