HELENA — Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Brian Inman said a crash on York Road on Saturday east of Helena claimed the life of a 15-year-old girl.
According to Trooper Inman, the girl was headed west on York Road at around 11:15 a.m. when her vehicle went off the right side of the road and collided with a driveway approach near LaSalle Lane.
The vehicle rolled once. The teen was not wearing her seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.
She was flown to Benefis Health System in Great Falls, but Trooper Inman said the girl died from her injuries Sunday morning.
Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.
The name of the girl has not yet been released.
