BOZEMAN — Good news for the owner of the Starlite sign that went missing earlier this week: the missing piece has been returned.
Last weekend, Ole Nelson reported the “lite” part of his Starlite sign went missing from his front yard.
Bozeman police received a tip on the location of the stolen sign and were able to track it down and return it to Nelson.
There were no charges filed against the individuals who took the sign, but the owner of the sign did welcome the apology.
The sign comes from the old Bozeman drive-in theater that closed in the early 1990's.
