Severe driving conditions on I90 near Big Timber

UPDATE:

Per MTDOT, current road conditions are now listed as scattered snow and ice.

There are also reports of blowing and drifting snow, and reduced visibility.

Severe driving conditions have been declared because of strong cross winds and severe blowing and drifting snow Interstate 90 near Big Timber.

In a press release from the Montana Department of Transportation, the alert has been declared between the Springdale interchange at mile marker 354 and the Reed Point interchange at mile marker 392.

Drivers are asked to be extremely cautious.
