MTN News talked with Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) about his thoughts about US Attorney General William Barr visiting Kalispell .

"I think it's great. I think there's a lot of challenges in Montana. It's good that he got here to see the rural areas, I wish he had gotten here quicker, but it's better late than never," Sen. Tester said.

"I think if he's able to do some things to get the Water Compact moving, because it needs to move. We're running out of time and we're running out of time fast. We need to get Senator Daines on board with that, if he's able to do that, that's a very, very good thing," he added.

Sen. Tester said that he now plans on spending some time at his ranch here in Montana.

Prior to his visit to Kalispell, Sen. Tester stopped by Montana This Morning where he talked with MTN's Justine Stewart. You can watch the full interview below.
