DE BORGIA, Mont. — A 39-year-old woman was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday night in Mineral County.
Montana Highway Patrol Dispatch reported a 46-year-old man was driving westbound on De Borgia Haugan Frontage Road when his vehicle went off the right side of the road.
The vehicle struck a 39-year-old woman from Idaho walking along the road, killing her.
The accident was reported just before 9 p.m. on Thursday several miles west of Superior in the small town of De Borgia.
MHP would not release the hometown of the driver at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
