Officials with Life Flight Network released this statement Tuesday morning:
This morning, at approximately 1:10 a.m. MDT, our Missoula-based aircraft and crew (LF 88) were involved in an accident in Lincoln, MT. There was no patient on board, and our team reported no injuries. We are deeply grateful that everyone is safe and able to return home to their families.
We are cooperating fully with local and federal authorities as they investigate the cause of this incident.
At this time, our focus is on supporting the well-being of our team. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

A helicopter crashed while attempting to land in Lincoln on Tuesday.
According to a Lincoln Volunteer Fire Rescue Facebook post, a Life Flight helicopter crashed while attempting to land in the middle of town.

The post said everyone is ok.
Main Street in Lincoln is shut down while emergency crews respond. They ask that people avoid the area.
