GREAT FALLS- Residents at The Grandview at Benefis, which is an assisted living home in Great Falls, had the chance to relive their glory days Wednesday afternoon.

Residents were joined by students from Great Fall Central Catholic High School for a prom event.

The students spent weeks planning the event, which offered dancing, refreshments and entertainment.

At the beginning of the afternoon, students handed out corsages for the ladies and boutonnieres for the men.

Gabe Swan was crowned king while Anne Needham grabbed the queen title.

The prom is held annually by Great Falls Central students. It’s called the ‘Senior Senior Prom.” While normally organized by seniors, this year’s event was planned by freshmen and a few students from other grades.

The freshman class will organize the event for the next three years.

Freshman Amanda Joyce said she believes the prom event makes the resident’s day.

“Because to see all the young people and to interact and kind of just get a different thing to do, kind of brings them back to when they were in high school, their proms and listen to the type of music they used to listen to,” she said.
