Woman charged for firing gun in alley

GREAT FALLS – Katrina Morsette, 27, was charged with felony criminal endangerment after shooting a gun in an alleyway behind a residence on Friday.

Great Falls Police officers responded to a home near 9th Street South and 3rd Avenue around 7 p.m.

According to the Great Falls Police Department, Morsette had fired a shot into the air and people inside a nearby residence felt threatened.

Police surrounded the home and Morsette was taken into custody about 45 minutes after officers arrived.

The GFPD said she may face other charges.
