BILLINGS - Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder announced Wednesday he will not run for a fifth term.
In a social media post, Linder said his current term ends Dec. 31, 2026 and he will not file for reelection.
"Having served the citizens of Yellowstone County for 40 years and working on my 16th year as Sheriff, it has been an honor and a privilege, and I cannot thank you enough for all the support that I have received from this community," Linder said in the post.
