Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon has tested positive for COVID-19, his office announced Wednesday.

Gordon, 63, has minor symptoms and plans to continue working remotely, his office said in a brief statement.

Gordon's announcement comes on the same day Wyoming legislators announced they would delay the bulk of the 2021 legislative session until the spring.

Gov. Mark Gordon received results today of a COVID-19 test that showed he is positive for the virus. He only has minor symptoms at this time and plans to continue working on behalf of Wyoming remotely.
