A woman was killed and a man was taken to a Billings hospital after they struck a deer on their motorcycle Wednesday night on Interstate 94 east of Huntley.
A Montana Highway Patrol trooper said the motorcycle was heading west on I94 when it struck the deer at mile marker 10.
Troopers say they don't know who was driving, but they do not suspect speed or alcohol as factors.
No ages were given for either the woman or the man, and they were described only as "middle-aged."
The fatality was the second in south-central Montana on Wednesday. A Colorado teen died in a rollover crash Wednesday morning in Sweet Grass County.
