BILLINGS — Wild Birds Unlimited will have a live kestrel and an owl in the store from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18th as part of their community education mission.

The Montana Raptor Conservation Center will be at the store with their winged ambassadors from Bozeman.

Last month WBU hosted Bu, a great horned owl, and Adora, an American Kestrel.

"We are proud to partner with this great organization as they subsist mainly on grants and public donations. And proud of their ability to band releasable raptors for ongoing research," said WBU owner John Haigh.

"Unfortunately some raptor populations are stressed from habitat loss and other environmental toxins," Haigh added. "We hope their research reveals our ability to mitigate negative impacts on their population."

The program is free and open to the public.

WBU is located at 111 S. 24th St. West, Suite 27.
