BILLINGS — Rae Gilstad 17, is creating a fundraiser to help with the Special Education Department at Billings West High school.

After she took a class to help out with special need kids she saw that they were in dire need of new equipment and resources.

Rae decided that something needed to be done about it and started working to create a fundraiser to help these kids out.

The fundraiser is called First Steps and will be instrumental in helping the kids for years to come. She has tirelessly raised money, gift cards and goodies for raffles and a silent auction.

The event will be Monday September 30th from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the westend Pizza Ranch located at 2505 King Avenue West.

20 percent of all meal purchases and 100 percent of the tips will go towards helping the Special Education Department.

The fundraiser must be mentioned at the time of purchase.
