BILLINGS — A group of fans and the crew with one Billings fire truck welcomed home the Billings Central Catholic High School volleyball team on the school's campus following their win at the State A volleyball tournament in Sidney Saturday night.
The firetruck was in the area for a vehicle crash that had been cleared up before the team arrived, according to one of the fans.
The crowd cheered while the fire truck's siren sounded, welcoming the state champions back to campus around 7 p.m.
Central swept Columbia Falls 25-23, 25-21 25-15 to win the championship, the team's third state title in the past four years.
