Update: Street reopens after van crash in downtown Billings

Update 11:09 p.m. No one was injured Tuesday night in the crash on 27th Street in downtown Billings near Third Avenue North, according to Billings police.

The crash involved a passenger van from the DoubleTree Inn by Hilton hotel and another vehicle, a blue four-door Suzuki hatchback, though details were thin Tuesday night.

The van was occupied, according to police.

The crash remains under investigation.



Update 10:58 p.m. The street has been cleared and reopened for traffic.



The northbound lanes of 27th Street in downtown Billings have been blocked off Tuesday night for a crash involving a passenger van.

The lanes were blocked at Third Avenue North around 10:15 p.m. Southbound lanes were still open.

The van was from the DoubleTree Inn by Hilton hotel and appeared to be occupied. No word on injuries or whether other vehicles are involved.
