Semi crash causes delays on I90

UPDATE: Roads are now clear

An accident on Interstate 90 Friday afternoon has caused traffic delays, according to the Montana Department of Transportation.

According to DOT, a semi traveling west on I90 lost its front wheels and crashed between the Mossmain Scales and Shiloh Interchange.

The incident occurred at the 56th Street Bridge where the road narrows. The semi is partially blocking the driving lane.

Traffic is being diverted to the passing lane and there has been extensive guard rail damage.

Montana Highway Patrol is on the scene and DOT is en route to access the guard rail.

Officials are reporting travelers to slow down, form one lane and expect delays.
