BILLINGS — Santa Claus continued his holiday visits to young patients Friday, this time stopping at the Billings Clinic NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit.

For many parents of babies in the unit, going out for Santa pictures isn't in the cards, so Santa brought the pictures to them.

Each parent received a a print of a professionally shot Santa picture.

"Nobody picks their baby's first Christmas to be in the NICU, so to have little things like Santa coming in, and some of these kids won't be able to be held by Santa, but they'll still have the Santa picture, and they can reflect on that every, every year," Nurse Manager Dawn Hedstrom said, "It's a keepsake, for the rest of their lives. It helps feel some sort of normalcy in a plan that they never would have picked or traveled down."

All babies were also decked out in donated holiday outfits, and gifted their own handmade Christmas blankets.

Santa, who's working most of the time at Rimrock Mall, visited pediatric patients at Billings Clinic Thursday.

Babies at St. Vincent Healthcare can also look forward to a visit from Santa next week.
